David Allen Gordon
1955 – 2020

David Allen Gordon passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on February 9, 2020.  Davis was born on August 22, 1955 to his parents, Ernest Gordon and Betty Sue Hampton-Gordon in Muskegon, Michigan.

David will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and so much more to those who knew him.  David was a good provider to his loving family. He had a wonderful sense of humor that would always make you smile.  His fun-loving personality made people gravitate towards him. David liked staying active, especially working-out. One of David's hobbies were his collections that started in his youth; stamps and baseball cards to name a few. Those hobbies would teach him values and preservation. David was a wonderful person that will be greatly missed. To know David, was to love David.

David is survived by his loving wife of over 37 years, Teresa Young-Gordon; his daughter, Chaquita Gordon; his son, David Gordon Jr.; his step-son, Anthony Young (Tonya Bason); his step-daughter, Latrina Collins; his stepdaughter, Amanda Sephus (Andre); A host of grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his sisters, Norma Rowell, Charlotte Parker, and Towanna Tanksley (Hilmon); numerous nieces and nephews; along with other loving family members and friends.

David is preceded in death by his parents Ernest Gordon and Betty Parker; his son, David Allen Gordon, his sister, Janis Callender; his brothers, Larry Parker, Ernest Gordon Jr., Ricki Gordon, Anthony Brunson, and Lynn Parker; and his nephew, William Durr.
