In Loving Memory of Darrell Glenn Cox

1960 - 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darrell Glenn Cox, who left us peacefully at his home in Azle, Texas, on February 1, 2025, at the age of 64.

Darrell was born on February 29, 1960, to King David and Jeanette Cox in Lake Worth, Texas. He was raised in Azle, where he attended school and spent the majority of his life. A joyful and charismatic soul, Darrell was known for being the life of the party. His infectious energy and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a hard worker and devoted father who always kept himself busy, making sure his family had everything they needed.

Darrell is survived by his two beloved sons, Bo and Cody Cox, and his mother, Jeanette Cox. He was preceded in death by his father, King David Cox. Darrell's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A graveside service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park, located at 850 N. Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX, 76020. Public visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the graveside service at 10:00 AM.
