Danny Earl Wilkerson

1954 - 2021

Danny Earl Wilkerson, 66, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2020.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday at 9:00 AM.  Funeral Services will be rendered on Monday, January 11, 2021, beginning at 10:00 AM at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home followed by interment at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.

Danny was born on March 13, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Gene Earl Wilkerson and Faye Strine Maples. He was known as a hard worker and dedicated his skills to serve as a Master Plumber for over 40 years.  Danny was a wonderful dancer and could be found spinning around the dance floor in his spare time.  Above all, he loved his family.  Danny took pride in the children he raised and the grandchildren they blessed him with.
Danny reunites with his father, Gene Earl Wilkerson; mother, Faye Maples; and step-father, Stuart Maples in Heaven.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Randy Wilkerson (LaDonna), Lacy Tewksbury (Ryan), and  Mandy Hoover; grandchildren, Amanda Wilkerson, Justin Wilkerson, Taylor Price, Koby Heck, and Brinley Tewksbury; siblings, Donnie, Lonnie, Debbie, Ron, Tisa, Tammy, Judy and Steve; and lifelong, best friend, James Flournoy.
