Christopher "Dougy" Hunt, 53, went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2020.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 1:00 PM.  A Graveside Service is to follow at 2:00 PM at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.

Christopher was born on May 19, 1967 in Fort Worth to Michael and Barbara Hunt.  He grew up as the peacemaker between his four siblings but to them he was known as Dougy.  Dougy had a great sense of humor, keeping smiles on everyone's faces.  While in the Army, he was an expert grenade thrower.  He was proud to have served his country. He accepted the Lord when his brother, Mikey, led him in the sinners prayer. Dougy's heart was filled when his daughter, Lauren, was born.  She was his pride and joy.  Later in life, he began to lose his vision but never let it slow him down.  He stayed optimistic throughout his life.  His disability led him to become an advocate for others with disabilities.  Dougy will be remembered as a fun-loving father, son, brother & friend.
Left to remember his contagious smile is his daughter, Lauren; parents, Michael and Barbara; siblings, Michael (Michelle), Kimberly (Vic), Allison (Wes), and Matthew (Heather); nieces and nephews, Kitty, Benjamin, Vanessa, and Madeline; and a host of loving friends.
