Obituary

Charlotte Ann Kilgore Nichols went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2022.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022, beginning at 1:00 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 PM.

Ann (Charlotte) was born on April 13, 1943 in Breckenridge, Texas to William Douglas Kilgore and Helen Elizabeth Pelfrey as child number two to her fourteen-year-old sister, Dolores who doted on her. Three years later, Ann (Charlotte) was ecstatic upon her sister, Linda's, arrival.  Five years later, her brother, John, made his appearance completing the family.  Throughout her childhood, Ann (Charlotte) dreamed of having four children of her own, which came true shortly after marrying her husband, Donnie Nichols at the age of sixteen.  For many years, she was a housewife, seamstress, and book worm at heart, but later in life joined the corporate world making a wonderful career.  Ann (Charlotte) resided with her family on Eagle Mountain Lake, leading her to joining the Fort Worth Power Squadron where she spent countless hours on the water with family and friends.  Ann (Charlotte) considered her greatest accomplishment was her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, but it didn't end there.  She was always so proud of her nieces and nephews and lives that they had carved out for themselves.

She has been reunited with her parents; son; Douglas Alvin Nichols; sister, Dolores Sharp; and brother, John Kilgore, in Heaven.

Ann (Charlotte) will be deeply and lovingly missed by her children, Cynthia Nichols Gilmore and  Son- In - Law  Chris Gilmore,  Jeffrey Lee Nichols, and Eric Don Nichols; sister, Linda Anderson; grandchildren, Amanda Taylor Cook, Austin Nichols, Sarah Nichols Gilbert and Husband Clark;  Kyle Nichols and Wife Brittni, Ashley Nichols and Fiancé Greg, Lucas Nichols, Sophia Nichols Hendrickson and Husband Bradley;  Sterling Nichols and Bonus Grand-son, Christopher Ross Gilmore and wife Nicole;  great-grandchildren, Elinore, James, and Beau Douglas; and Bonus Great Granddaughter Levi Marie Gilmore and a host of friends.
