1945 - 2026

Carolyn Sue Pillow, born July 21, 1945, in Waco, Texas, to Joe Elton Davis and Mildred Marjorie Davis, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on May 3, 2026, at the age of 80.

 She was a loving mother and Mema and was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Elton Davis and Mildred Marjorie Davis, as well as her sisters JoAnn Fretwell and Margie Louise Kessler. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Sherri Lynne Gallimore, and husband Jerry; her son, James Richard Price Jr. (Ricky), and wife Giselle; and her granddaughter, Summer Erin Tibbetts and husband Nick. She is also survived by her siblings, Jimmy Elton Davis, Sondra Marie King, and Ethel Irene Russell.

 Carolyn loved her family dearly, found joy in country music, slot machines, and was deeply inspired by the poem "Footprints in the Sand." She will be held in our hearts and forever missed.

Carolyn will be having a graveside service this Thursday, May 7th, 2026 @ 2:00PM. This will be held at Azleland Memorial Park, Located at 850 N. Cardinal Rd, Azle TX 76020.
