Obituary

Bonnell knew it was time to go home Monday night so she hugged and kissed Gary Goodnight and told him she loved him, laid down, and went to sleep with Jesus early Tuesday morning, January 19, 2021.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 AM.

Bonnell was born at home in Fort Worth, TX on September 21, 1954.  She attended school at Castelberry ISD.  When she was grown, she started her family.  Bonnell married the love of her life, Gary Taylor, and spent 42 cherished years and four months together.  They had a blended family of five children.  She devoted her life to God and her family.  Bonnell made sure and poured Jesus into the family.  She knew pretty much everyone; she was a very sociable person.  Bonnell did everything in her power to take care of her family, but God came first in everything.  She loved church and went every chance she had.  She always wanted to praise God and share his blessings.  Bonnell made sure to tell everyone she met that Jesus loves them rather they wanted to hear it or not.  She was so many things to different people, a daughter, sister, mother wife, aunt, friend and minister.  She was even Gary's barber for many years.  No matter what, Bonnell had a scripture for every situation.  She got sick and went to sleep peacefully drifting to her Eternal Home.  Now, she is happily shoutin in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Taylor, of 42 years &4 months of Ft.Worth; 5 children, Denise and husband Jeremy Kitchens of Grand Prairie, Teresa and husband Marty Crider of Georgia, Cathy and husband Ken Franklin of Burleson, Shelly Wilkings and husband Paul of North Carolina, and Tim Taylor of Venus; brother, Forest Gilbert and wife Janette of Grand Prairie; Sister, Vanitta Mattson and husband Russell  of Ft.worth;  17 grandkids and 10 great grand kids
