Bobby Dennis Eason

1939 - 2024

Bobby Dennis Eason of Bridgeport, TX went to be with his Lord and Savior
on May 21, 2024. He was born December 27th, 1939 in Paradise,TX to Boyd
W. Eason and Alice Reedy Eason. He was the youngest of eight children.
Bobby went to school in Paradise, Boyd, and then graduated in Azle. He
worked in heating and AC as well as the Railroad. His main career was with
the Fort Worth Fire Department.
With his first wife, he had two children, Tami Eason Murphy and Britt Eason.
In 1970, he married Robbie Barton Holladay and she had two children, Kelly
Holladay, and Randy Holladay. Together, as they raised their children, they
also had Eason's Feed and Seed Bag in Azle, TX. After thirty years, he
proudly retired from the Fort Worth Fire Department.
Besides his career and his feed business, he also enjoyed
building/remodeling homes, raising cattle, and raising hay together with his
son Britt. Some of his hobbies were playing the guitar and singing at the
Azle Opry, shooting trap, dancing, camping, hunting, (especially duck and
deer hunting). He enjoyed the outdoors and guns. With his gardening, he
was very precise! Each row had to be perfectly straight. He particularly liked
growing melons. In his later years, he liked sitting with his cup of coffee,
watching birds and other wildlife with Robbie.
Both he and Robbie were faithful members of the Balsora Baptist Church.
He was taught the Bible as a young boy and enjoyed reading it and
devotions throughout his life. He taught a Men's Sunday School class for
several years. His faith was very important to him.
He is survived by his wife of fifty - four years, Robbie, his four children, Tami,
Britt (Terry), Kelly, and Randy (Misty). He is also survived by six
grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, his parents and his seven
siblings who passed before him.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, June 15th, at Azleland Funeral
Home in Azle, TX. His remains will be buried at New Hope Cemetery at a
later date. In lieu of flowers, Bobby's wishes were that you would make a
donation to the Balsora Baptist Church, 108 County Rd. 3523, Bridgeport,
TX 76426.
