Bobbie Lee Sprehe passed away on February 25, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Chapel beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Briggs of Lighthouse Fellowship officiating.

Bobbie was born on August 8, 1932 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Arden Johnston and Florence Phillips DeWeese.  She graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy before attending nursing school at St. Joseph School of Nursing until she became a full time mother.  Later, Bobbie joined the staff of Lake Worth ISD, where she later retired after working as part of the custodial team at Effie Morris Elementary for many years.  Bobbie was an active member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church and participated in their United Methodist Women and Senior Adults groups.  She became known as "Miss Bobbie" to a whole generation of children who she had a hand in raising by serving in the church's nursery and working for the church's school, Lighthouse Christian Academy.  Bobbie had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in passing by her father, Arden Johnston; mother, Florence DeWeese; and aunt, Juanita Grissom.

Bobbie will be deeply and lovingly missed by her daughter, Karen Marie Martz and husband, William, of Fort Worth; son, John Edward Sprehe and wife, Tracie, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Teresé Byrom & husband, Troy, of Azle, Danielle Groh & husband, Keith, of Weatherford, Katherine Slone & husband, Seth, of Mineral Wells, Stephanie Martz of Fort Worth, Tiffany Brackeen and husband, JT of Granbury, Zachary Sprehe of Granbury, Nathan Sprehe of Fort Worth, and Allison Sprehe of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Trenton Malone, Trevor Malone, Riley Byrom, Cooper Byrom, Brady Slone, and Silas Slone; sister, Jeanette Goodman of Fort Worth; niece, René Goodman of Fort Worth; and a host of loving friends.
