Billy Lee Bell, 68, of Azle, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2026. He was born on October 22, 1957, in Barstow, California, to Thomas Bell Sr. and Gladys Bell.

Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a deeply creative and curious individual, known for his artistic talents and love of drawing and painting. He had a lifelong thirst for knowledge and could often be found reading the dictionary daily, always eager to learn something new and share it with those around him.

A dedicated member of the Knights of Pythias, Billy devoted much of his time to volunteering and helping others. His generosity, wisdom, and passion for learning left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Bell Sr.; his mother, Gladys Bell; and his brother, Thomas Bell Jr.

Billy is survived by his son and daughter in law, Thomas & Jill and grandchildren Nick and Isabella; his siblings, Ruthie, Johnny, Kathy, Jeffrey, and Stephen; several nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family of great-nieces, great-nephews, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

Billy will be remembered for his kind spirit, creative mind, and the knowledge he so freely shared with others. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
