Billie Ruth Jones, of White Settlement, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21, 2026. Billie was born on April 3, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Carl Thomas Jones and Marjorie Elizabeth (Moreland) Jones.

Billie grew up in White Settlement, TX and graduated from Brewer High School. She had a strong faith, a deep love for her family and a love for all animals. She was an avid reader and in recent years had been writing short stories that often included Jesus and her faith as well as all kinds of animals as her main characters. She loved to watch TV, movies, and cooking shows and was known to spend hours playing cards and chicken foot dominoes with her nieces. She enjoyed family gatherings and especially enjoyed her big 75th birthday celebration this past April.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, older sister Margaret Lowry, brother-in-law Wayne Lowry, brother-in-law Harry Gray, and niece Nicole Lowry Conlon.

She is survived by her siblings, Jimmy (Laura) Jones of Gordon, TX; Marsha Gray of White Settlement, TX; Larry Jones of White Settlement, TX; Paul (Jennifer) Jones of Weatherford, TX; Joe (Charlotte) Jones of Azle, TX and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Zion Hill Cemetery located at 3558 CR 368 E, Henderson, TX 75654 on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
