In Loving Memory of Beverly Kay Cobb

1959 - 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Kay Cobb, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, at the age of 65 in Fort Worth, Texas. Beverly was born on January 16, 1959, to Otha and Florene Davis in Fort Worth, and she spent her entire life in the North Texas area, where she forged deep, lifelong connections with her family and community.

Beverly was a woman with an incredible sense of humor, a heart full of love, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She shared a special bond with her sisters, and her deep love for her daughter and grandchildren was immeasurable. She was a proud and doting mother to Mandy Riddle and her husband Gregory, and the most amazing grandmother to Chase Smith and Triniti McDaniel, whom she adored beyond measure. Beverly considered her grandchildren the apples of her eye, and her life revolved around them. She supported them in all their endeavors, was a constant presence at their events, and loved them unconditionally. Beverly also embraced their friends as her own, making sure that if they were good enough for Chase and Triniti, they were always welcome in her heart and home.

Beverly's love for animals was another defining feature of her life. She was rarely without a pet by her side and found comfort in the companionship of animals throughout her years. A fantastic cook, she often prepared meals for her loved ones, making sure they always had a hot plate of comfort food when they needed it most. Beverly's home was a haven for her family, filled with warmth, love, laughter, and a few playful moments of ornery mischief.

In addition to her daughter and grandchildren, Beverly is survived by her sister Darlene Hatcher and her husband Douglas, her special brother-in-law Edward Wilcox, her niece Teresa Hatcher, her nephew Clayton Gifford, her special companion Dan Crumpler, and many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Otha and Florene Davis, her brother Bobby Dale Davis, her sister Celia Stegient, and her nephew Charlie Hatcher.

A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, beginning at 9:00 AM at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home, located at 850 N. Cardinal Rd, Azle, TX 76020. A service will follow at 10:00 AM, with a committal service to be held at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.

Beverly's life was a testament to the importance of family, love, laughter, and devotion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, especially her daughter and grandchildren, who will forever cherish the lessons she taught them and the love she gave so freely. Rest in peace, Beverly. You will always be remembered with love
