Barbara Jo Hinsey

1948 – 2020

Barbara Hinsey, 71, passed away on January 2nd, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. Barbara was born on March 24th, 1948 in Amarillo, Texas to Wilson L. Prince and Joan Elizabeth Prince.

Barbara had a long battle with heart and lung issues and a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Barbara worked many years as a school cafeteria manager for Alvarao Texas. Family was everything to her, she loved to color with gel pens, work on fill in puzzles and play bingo. She was a happy soul who did not know a stranger and was generous. Barbara was so loving, and her memory will remain in the hearts of those who know her forever.

Barbara is survived by her one brother, Joe and Cathy Prince of Flower Mound; her three children, daughter, Donisha and Brian Harris, her daughter, Ruby Baker of Azle, and son, Donald and Brandy Pointer of Azle; her seven grandchildren; her six great grandchildren; along with other loving family members and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held January 19,2020  at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home, 850 N. Cardinal Road Azle, Texas 76020.
