Arletta Ruth Pope was welcomed into her eternal home on December 22, 2020.

Arletta was born on October 31, 1947 to Ruthie Eileen (Little) and Theodore Meyers in Fort Worth, Texas. She married the love of her life, Mark Pope, on November 3, 1978 at the Haltom City Assembly of God Church. Arletta and Mark shared 42 memorable years together. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her husband and her family. Arletta was deeply devoted to the Lord and knew that she was going to Heaven one day.  Whenever she had the time, Arletta loved coloring, crocheting, and playing chicken foot.

Arletta has been reunited with her parents, Theodore and Ruthie Meyers and her sister, Doris Jane Morris.

She will be forever missed by her adoring husband, Mark Pope; niece, Teresa Morris; great nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Chase, and son Trevon; Jessica and Justin, and son Jayton; Joe and sons, Bryson and Jayden; Andrea and children, Orryn, Ember and Kendyl; sisters-in-laws, Marcia and Sandra; brother-in-law, Jimmy; and many cherished friends.

A Visitation will be held at the Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel on December 29, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
