In Loving Memory of Anthony William Turgeon

June 8, 1977 - August 15, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Anthony William Turgeon, who left this world too soon on August 15, 2023. Born on June 8, 1977, in Laredo, TX, he was the beloved son of William Jesse Turgeon and Alicia Alonzo.

Anthony's vibrant spirit was deeply intertwined with the great outdoors. He found solace and joy in fishing, grilling, and hiking, especially by the serene lakes that held a special place in his heart. As an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he cheered passionately for his team, reflecting his unwavering dedication. Anthony possessed a remarkable ability to forge connections effortlessly. His warm smile and welcoming personality endeared him to all he met, making friends in every corner of his journey. His compassion and genuine nature left an everlasting mark on those fortunate enough to cross his path.

Family and friends were Anthony's true treasures, and he cherished every moment spent with them. To his uncle Pepe and Cisco Leal, he was known as "Antonio Bolas de Perro Chatol." His gatherings were filled with laughter, love, and a sense of togetherness that will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew him. Though Anthony's time with us was brief, the memories he created and the love he shared will endure as a testament to his beautiful soul. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a zest for life that will inspire all who remember him. His absence will be felt until we all meet again in God's Eternal Kingdom. Anthony will de deeply and lovingly missed by his mother, Alicia Pearson; father, William Turgeon; children, Mariah, Jazmin, Nathan, and Anthony Jr.; brothers, William Turgeon Jr., Christopher Ramon, Steven Hall, and Chris Turgeon; sisters, Nora Turgeon and Jessica Turgeon; significant other, Leanna Munoz; and a host of loving extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be rendered at Azleland Cemetery & Memorial Park.
