Wanda Jo (Ferrell) Nixon
1946 ~ 2019

Wanda Jo (Ferrell) Nixon returned home to her Lord and Savior on November 2, 2019 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Wanda was born on January 10, 1946 to her parents, J.D. Ferrell and Alberta Ferrell.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Robert Lee Nixon. The two were happily married for 48 years; her son, Ray Dewitt Smith; her daughter, Rebecca Renee Smith; her two step-sons, Robert Lee Nixon Jr. and Lee Edward Nixon; her brother, James David Ferrell; her sister, Deborah Ferrell; her eleven grandchildren
and fifteen great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Alberta Heath Ferrell who passed away April 29, 2013 and her father, James Dewitt Ferrell who passed away August 10, 2011.

Though the family mourns the loss of Wanda, they invite all to rejoice and celebrate her new life in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven with Our Lord and Savior.

A visitation will be held on November 7, 2019 at 9:00 a.m in the Azle and Lake Worth Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Graveside Service beginning at 10:00 a.m all located at 850 N. Cardinal Road Azle, Texas 76020.
