Sandra Jean (Davis) Massey

Sandra Jean Davis- Massey, 62, entered eternal peace on Thursday, June 20, 2019.  She was born to the late Robert Keary Davis and Barbara Jean Davis on November 26, 1956.

Sandy married Carl Massey on November 29, 1974.  For the past 44 years, they have set an example of unconditional love and commitment to each other.  Sandy and Carl enjoyed spending simple time together, watching television, going on drives, and cruising.  She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed quality time with her precious grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her devoted husband Carl and his mother Francis Adams; her sister Robin Welch and husband Ken, her brother Duane Davis and wife Viki.  Sandy always said her greatest accomplishment in life was her four children.  She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by; Brandon and Amy Massey, Leslie and Louis Vasquez, Amber and David Willingham, Ashley and Billy Tucker and five grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, Presley, Kamryn, Miley, several nephews, nieces and her dogs.

Sandy was a friend to all who knew her.  She was always the first person to volunteer to help during a time of need.  With a kind heart and a positive attitude, she was frequently sought out to be a listening ear to her friends.  Sandy spent years in the floral business where she loved being able to help a young couple start their life together with wedding flowers or do one last kind gesture for someone who has lost a loved one.  Sandy’s children would call her Snow White because she loved all animals.  She would talk to farm animals on her notorious country drives, bring home stray dogs, and would refer to all her children’s dogs as her grand dogs. Sandy lived her life loving people. Her sweet soul and kind heart will continue to live through the lives she touched.

Sandy always said she wanted a memorial to celebrate her life for those she loved.  Services will be held Wednesday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Azleland.  The family wishes to thank all of those who have reached out to offer their condolences.
