Ronald Bob Darnell
1950 - 2019
Ronald Bob Darnell was born December 29, 1950 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to his parents Billie Bob and Betty Louise Gurley-Darnell. Ronald returned to our Heavenly Father on August 10, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Ronald was an exceptionally gifted man. In life, he learned the trade of commercial building painting. Ronald had an eye for detail, an incredible work ethic, took great pride in his work and a love for his trade. Those abilities led him to be one of the most talented painters in his field of expertise for over fifty years. Ronald's passion though in life was his family. Ronald Darnell was a loving father to his eight children. Ronald's greatest joy in life was the bonds he created with each of his nineteen grandchildren. They meant everything to him and he held a unique and special place for each one of them in his heart. He had great taste in music and loved to listen to classic rock and The Beatles on his surround sound stereo system. He also had a love for hamburgers, military aircraft and had a rock collection of fossils and crystals. Ron was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan but, mostly he loved his family and especially loved his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by Betty Darnell, Bob Darnell, Susan Darnell and Jacklyn Darnell. He is survived and will be remembered by many including his wife,Teresa Barrow; his children, Shaun Darnell, Shane Darnell, Adam Darnell, Courtney Willis, Amy Darnell, Stephanie Rothwell, Olivia Darnell and Lexie Darnell, Ronald also leaves behind his brother, Jim Darnell and his sister, Diane Bradford.
While the family is greatly saddened by the loss of Ronald, they wish everyone would celebrate his new eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
