Janet Sparks Obituary

Janet Marie Sparks
1953 - 2019

Janet Marie Sparks passed away on April 26, 2019 in Azle, Texas.  Janet was born April 21, 1953 to Olen & Hazle Bynum in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and some much more to those who knew her.  She loved her family beyond measure and found true enjoyment while spending time with her husband, grandchildren, her kids, and her family and friends. She relished the peaceful moments early in the morning with a cup coffee outside enjoying the fragrance of her roses and other flowers. She contently watched the deer and other wildlife roaming freely. She had a love for cats and enjoyed watching the “Hallmark Channel”, especially during the holidays. She was very social and enjoyed good conversations doting over her grandchildren and never met a stranger. Her passion for writing gospel music, playing the piano, and praising God was something she always enjoyed doing. Even though she couldn’t play or write in the last few years she never stopped praising God.

Janet is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jimmie Sparks; her son, James Sparks and wife Tammy of Azle, Texas; her son, Michael Sparks and wife Cristal of Azle, Texas; her daughter Regina Libbey and husband Curtis of Saginaw, Texas; her daughter, Kindra Sparks of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her twenty-seven grandchildren; her five great-grandchildren; her three sisters, Mae & Boog Younger, Ann & Jimmy Lowery and Connie Parker, and 2 brothers Johnny & Nellie Bynum, and Don & Kay Bynum. Mother n law Sara Lewis. And many other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Hazle Bynum; her brother, Ben Bynum; her sister, Pat Bradley; her grandson James Jr.; and many other loved ones.
