James Hansel Jackson
1937 - 2019
James Hansel Jackson was born on September 3rd, 1937 to his parents Mary Susie and John Clinton Jackson. People knew James Hansel Jackson by different names. He was Hansel to his friends, Jack to co-workers and James to people that were interested in selling him something. Hansel was a man of many skills and attributes. He served our country faithfully in the United States Army before finding his career as a mock up designer and builder for Lockheed Martin where he was employed for 27 years. He Loved to garden and work in the yard and enjoyed creating things with his woodworking.
Hansel loved country music and his dogs. Hansel left this world to return to his Lord and Savior on June 5th, 2019 at his home in Reno, Texas.
Family meant everything to Hansel Jackson. He leaves behind a large and loving family. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Louise Jackson; his son, Randy Lynn Lanier and his grandchildren, Sheldon Lanier and his wife Kim; Vicki Townley and her husband Paul and Presley Coiner and her husband David. Hansel will be greatly missed by his seven great grandchildren, Alexis Sexton, Tryston Lanier, Luke Townley, Colton Townley, Sierra Townley, Elliot Coiner and Asa Coiner. Hansel also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as countless friends and extended family that he met over a life time.
Hansel is now reunited with those loved ones that preceded him in death; his mom, Mary Susie Jackson; his dad, John Clinton Jackson; his grandson, Sully Joe Lanier and his brothers, George Jackson and Gene Jackson.
While the family is greatly saddened by their loss, they wish to celebrate Hansel's arrival into his new home in The Kingdom of Heaven.
