1941 - 2019

Edward (Eddie) Lee Farrell was born February 6, 1941 in East Meadow, Long Island, New York.  He passed peacefully at his home in Mineral Wells, Texas on December 31, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. 

Eddie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  His family and beloved dogs, Susie and Chita, meant everything to him.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, going to the casino, mowing, playing bingo and playing cards with the guys at his Tuesday night meetings,  He was a proud member of the Knights of Pythias and spent much of his time working the kitchen on Saturday nights.  Anyone that knew him knew that he would do anything for anyone.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Beulah Farrell, of 43 years of Mineral Wells, Texas.  Daughters, Debbie and husband Willie Ramirez of Mineral Wells, Patricia Farrell of Mineral Wells, his step-daughter, Belinda Reeves and husband Deryl of Mineral Wells.  His grandchildren, Jeannie and husband Rickey Bottorff of Mineral Wells, Eddie Davila and wife Monica of Mineral Wells, and Lance Norwood Jr of Mineral Wells.  His Great grandchildren, Rickey Bottorff Jr., Billy Bottorff, Harlen Bottorff, Emma Bottorff and Nixon Davila all of Mineral Wells.

A Graveside Memorial will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2 PM at Azleland Cemetery, 850 N. Cardinal Rd., Azle, Texas 76020 where balloons with messages will be released in his memory.  Also, flowers will be placed on his grave.  Please join us and honor his memory.
