Dayton Lee Bryant passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Fremont County, Colorado in a skydiving accident. Dayton was born on March 11, 2001 to his parents Scottie Bryant and Sunja Stevens in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dayton attended Azle High School. Dayton's passion was music and was a valued member of the Azle Marching Green Pride. Dayton toured with the Open Class, The Guardians Drum, Bugle Corps 2016 Contra, 2017 Drum Major, World Class and The Cavaliers in 2018 Contra. As Dayton prepared for the 2019 season, he shared this bit of advice with prospective Cavaliers: "Be hungry, fight for your spot, and don't apologize. Be fearless and dare to dream."
He is preceded in death by the following: Uncle Jeremy Bryant, Cousin Eric Bearden, Great Grand-dad Everett Burleson, Aunt Rachail George, Great Aunt Jerri Garza and Great Grandma Martha Winters.
He is survived by his mom, Sunja Stevens, dad and stepmom Scottie and Tiffany Bryant, half-brother and wife, Levi and Becka Stevens, step-brother, Bobby Greenwood and half-sister, Lily Bryant. He is also survived by all his grandparents, Jimmy and Betty George, Ricky and Mona Bryant and Lee Woody. Dayton leaves behind, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Dayton will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed by all.
