Brent Gregory Kuhns

1961 - 2019

Brent Kuhns was born on May 14, 1961 to Donna Marie Martin and Phillip Spencer Kuhns in Kansas City, Kansas. He attended and graduated form McLouth High School in Kansas and worked most of his adult career in the furniture industry. Brent went home to his Lord and Savior on June 23, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Brent was a very outgoing person who made people gravitate towards him.  He had a beautiful heart and a bigger smile.  These qualities served Brent well as he was an elite salesman in the furniture industry.  There were many times that Brent won the top salesman award while he worked at The Room Store and Wicks Furniture.  At one point his mother, Donna decided to join Brent in the furniture sales workforce at The Room Store.  While a very talented salesperson herself, It quickly became apparent to Donna that she was no equal to Brent. That day came when Brent's manager paid Donna a compliment on her sales prowess, but then quickly added that she was no Brent and never would be, as Brent was the best salesman he had ever met.

Brent was gifted at many things.  He was an avid fisherman, he loved antiques and restoring them and he loved to walk and exercise.  But the one thing that Brent excelled in better than anything else was that he was a very good son. 

Brent leaves behind his mother, Donna Martin; his sisters, Dana Venus and Phyllis VanHorn; his brother Tony Kuhns; his niece, Vanessa Wallace and his nephew Joshua Venus.  Brent was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Spencer Kuhns; his grandparents, Mary and Edgar Kuhns and Maria Martin; and his uncles, Ernie Fischer, Glen Martin and Cecil Martin.

While the family is greatly saddened by the loss of Brent to this world, they celebrate his new life in the Kingdom of Heaven.

The family wishes to invite everyone to a graveside celebration of Brent's life at Azleland Cemetery, 850 N. Cardinal Rd.  in Azle, Texas on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
